OUR STORY
Growing up in central Auckland, New Zealand during the 80s and 90s I was always surrounded by the heavy sounds of hip hop, Polynesian and R&B music. Music was more than just a background noise; it was a constant in every aspect in my life. It shaped my personality, influenced the way I would dress and always made me feel confident.
From a young age, I always dreamed of becoming a DJ and eventually I was known as "THE GUY” at school when it came to music and fashion.
My love for big graphic design t-shirts was a natural extension of my passion for music. I spent countless hours sketching out designs that reflected the energy and spirit of the music I loved. The bold, eye-catching graphics were a way for me to express myself and connect with others who shared my interests.
As I grew older, I realized that I wanted to turn my passion into something more. That’s when I decided to start my own clothing brand, THREESTAX APPAREL CO. Drawing on my experiences and inspirations from my youth, I created a line of clothing that celebrates the old school vibes I hold dear. Each piece is a tribute to the music, fashion, and culture that shaped me into the person I am today.
I miss the old school days, but through THREESTAX APPAREL CO, I get to keep that spirit alive and share it with others. It’s a journey that started in the heart of Auckland and continues to evolve with every new design.
